Trudi Smith is an Interior Designer with expertise in interior architecture, universal design, and timber frame structures serving the New York Finger Lakes Region.
Her keen sense for organization paired with over 20 years of experience means she knows how to run a tight ship. From her client onboarding process to space planning and construction management she’s able to design a space that’s a genuine reflection of you and your lifestyle.
A self-proclaimed architecture nerd, Trudi has always taken the path less traveled. You’ll often find her on the back roads of New York gaining inspiration from centuries-old homes and barns. Her love of building started as a child building tree houses, but it was when she found herself in shop class (where she was often the only girl), that she was hooked on creating with wood, which led to her love of the timber frame style building she has today.
A nature lover at heart, Trudi knows the importance of creating a balance between interior and exterior spaces so that it evokes calm and rejuvenation. When she is not working Trudi can be found kayaking with her husband of 32 years and ending the day around the campfire with family and friends.
Another reason I chose Trudi is her CAPS certification. Given that this is our retirement home, Trudi was able to incorporate creative designs that will better allow us to stay in the home.
I work with clients in Monroe, Wayne & Ontario counties, Western NY & the Fingerlakes Region through the Adirondak Park and nationwide via virtual connections.
